In reply to Lisa. Because almond flour is not technically a flour in the traditional sense. Rather it is almonds pulverized in a blender to turn it into an ingredient that "acts" like flour in the recipe. I hope this answers your question.

Would regular sugar work in a pinch? Maple syrup, what would conversion be? Would love to make these for my kiddos, but with Shelter In Place, I have a more limited pantry. Thank you for all of your delicious recipes!! We love making them!

FINALLY! I saw you made these cookies on your Instagram stories and have been waiting for you to post the recipe. I LOVE your almond flour cookies and make them for my kids all the time. I am so excited to try this one too. Can you make a chocolate cookie with almond flour as well? I tried a few recipes online but they weren’t all that good. Your almond flour recipes are the best.
